Life Science CXO Conclave 2026 Brings Together Nearly 90 Industry Leaders in Burlington, MA

Industry Leaders explore the Impact of AI on Pharma and Life Sciences

EXTON, PA, UNITED STATES, Oct 2, 2026 — Prana Life Sciences and JobGini today announced the successful completion of the Life Science CXO Conclave 2026, an invite-only leadership forum held on September 10 in Burlington, Massachusetts. The event drew over 90 senior executives, founders, and innovators from medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, technology, and healthcare organizations, along with AI experts and representatives from academic institutions including MIT and Harvard.

The Conclave centered on a single theme: The Impact of AI on Pharma & Life Sciences, examining how artificial intelligence is reshaping drug discovery, clinical development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory operations across the industry.

“This conclave was a very successful program,” said Giri Masireddy, CEO of Prana Life Sciences. “CXO leaders, from entrepreneurs to senior executives from larger organizations, having an honest conversation about how AI is being used — and where it still needs to prove itself — most valuable conversation in life sciences and pharma today.”

Speaker Highlights
Dr. Prakash Raman, CEO of InduPro Therapeutics, opened the program with a session on AI in drug discovery, highlighting that while AI capability is advancing rapidly, its translation into clinical and regulatory impact still lags — and outlining a path to close that gap.

Gary Kaufman, co-founder of ABI-LAB, discussed how AI and automation are being used to protect scientists’ time in the lab, drawing on ABI-LAB’s track record of supporting life sciences companies that have collectively raised more than $5 billion.

Dr. Yusef Yacouba-Issa, a veteran pharmaceutical Quality Assurance executive, presented on the use of AI in Quality Assurance, emphasizing that AI should accelerate document review and risk detection while final GxP decisions remain firmly with qualified human reviewers.

Bhaskar Kende, Co-Founder and CTO of Prana Life Sciences, spoke about applying AI to GxP validation and data migration. “The real opportunity isn’t replacing validation and compliance work — it’s making it faster and more reliable,’ said Kende. ‘When AI handles the repetitive verification, our teams can focus on the judgment calls that actually require human expertise.”

The evening closed with a panel discussion, “From AI-Assisted to AI-Native Pharma Industry,” moderated by Chandra Ramanathan, Executive Vice President of BRC Therapeutics and Executive Chair of Nucleate. Panelists included Dr. Meena Subramanyam (Vice President and Global Program Leader, Takeda Pharmaceuticals), Kailash Swarna (who leads Accenture’s Research & Early Development practice for Life Sciences), Kajal Anandani (Founder and CEO, K3 Innovations), and Ravi Kaushik (Founder and CEO, ROPHAI).

Sonal Bhandary, Head of IT at Collegium Pharmaceutical, served as emcee for the evening.
