Prana Life Sciences is soon releasing a beta version of its flagship product to help clients automate the periodic review of audit trails for Veeva applications. Periodic review is one of the key aspects of GxP Compliance for IT applications used in the Life Sciences industry. Companies typically perform assessments of audit trails manually, which is often time-consuming and error-prone. Modern cloud applications generate huge amounts of audit trail data and linking and verifying these audit trail records against the intended change control records is a convoluted process. Prana’s product alleviates this pain area by automating the review of audit trails against the change requests.
Life Sciences companies follow change management processes, which include details of the requests and approved changes in the change request forms. These forms are typically in MS word, Excel, or web record formats. Prana’s product can read these inputs from shared drives or over web APIs and verify these changes against the audit trails. The output of this automated audit trail review is a user-friendly spreadsheet, which is ready for presenting to the auditors.
The Prana team believes that their solution will address one of the most painful areas in GxP Compliance processes. This product has the potential to bring Prana to the forefront in the GxP technology innovation league.
